Programme 2019-2020

We meet at Canolfan y Capel, Caeathro, near Caernarfon (unless otherwise indicated), starting at 7pm (unless otherwise indicated), but if you want to stage your competition entry get there in plenty of time. There is room to park on the road or in the free Car Park opposite.

 

Tuesday October 8th a talk by Coryn Bye on "My journey through horticulture leading to development of Blodeuwedd Botanics.".
There is also a competition of "Autumn colour arrangement".
Annual subscriptions due.

Tuesday November 12th a talk on "Preparing for winter and winter colour" by Mel Livingston.

Tuesday 10th December a "Seasonal Demonstration" with expert Sandra Roberts .
Christmas food - bring and share, cakes or savories.
Competition: "A Christmas arrangement".

Tuesday January 14th 2020 we have a Gardeners' Question Time.

Tuesday February 11th, at 6:30pm, is our Annual General Meeting, followed by a Dinner (for those who want to and have previously booked their place), at Caernarfon Golf Club, on the Aber Foreshore

Tuesday March 10th a talk on "Bees - planting and products" by Kate Mortimer.
Competition: "Bouquet of spring flowers".

Tuesday April 14th CANCELLED a talk by Carolyn Barritt.

Tuesday May 12th CANCELLED is our Garden visit which this year is Llys y Gwynt, near Bangor, followed by Supper at the Vaynol Arms, Pentir (for those who wish to go and have booked a place beforehand).

Saturday June 13th A decision regarding the Coach Trip will be made nearer the time is our annual Coach Trip this year to Gwaenynog Hall, Denbigh, calling at Seven Oaks Garden Centre en route. Booking of your place will be in the preceding 4-6weeks.

Saturday July 13th We hope that by July we will be able to have our OUTDOOR Garden Party, but who knows at 2:30pm we have our Garden Party at Bodwyn; kindly invited back to the same venue as last year.

No event in August.

Guests or visitors are welcome to any meeting for a nominal charge of 2, refundable if you decide to Join. Annual subscriptions of 6 are due in October, but you can pay at any following meeting, if you ask for Delia, the Treasurer. The subscription is going up to 8 from October 2020. You will be given a card with full details of the season's talks and visits, and contact details.
