Programme 2024
We meet on the afternoons of the second Tuesday of the month, at Canolfan y Capel, Caeathro, near Caernarfon (unless otherwise indicated), starting at 1pm (unless otherwise indicated), but if you want to stage your competition entry get there a little earlier. There is room to park on the main or adjoining roads, but if the gates are open (and they usually will be) there is plenty of parking in the (free) car park opposite.
Tuesday 10th October
at 1pm, a talk by Mel Livingston on "Getting a
wiggle on".
Visitors and guests free. £8 Membership
subscriptions due from this month.
There is no competition this year.
Tuesday November 14th at 1pm, a talk on "Making soap" by Dewi Antur Waunfawr.
Tuesday December
12th at 1pm, a "Christmas wreaths an floral displays"
demonstration and workshop, with Jill Evans.
Christmas food - bring and share.
Competition: "A Christmas arrangement".
Tuesday January
9th at 1pm, 2023, a "Gardeners' Question Time" with
Suzie Kraike.

is
our Annual General Meeting (which is usually quite short), followed by a Dinner (for those who want to
stay and have previously booked their meal), at Caernarfon Golf Club, on the Aber
Foreshore. [Bookings and payments for the Dinner are usually taken at the January meeting,
but contact the Secretary for further information.]

12th at 1pm a talk
on "No dig gardening" by Rhys Rowloads.
Competition: "Bouquet of spring flowers".
Tuesday April
9th
at 1pm, a talk
on "Food for "free" from the hedgerows" by Bethan
Moseley.
Tuesday May
14th at 1pm is a visit to the garden - details nearer the
time.
Saturday June
15th is our
annual Coach Trip. This year to RHS Bridgewater Garden, Salford,
Manchester. There may be no entrance fee, plus the cost of the coach. Booking of your coach seat must be at
the Tuesday Garden visit on 14th May and is £26 per person - please bring cash
in an envelope with your name(s) written on the outside. Garden Guides can be
order at the same time for £2.50 (usual price £6). There is no entrance charge
for members or their friends as we are affiliated to the RHS and we have free
entry for members and their friends (usual price £17.50). If you are not coming
to the Garden Visit, contact the Secretary Liz

Guests or visitors are welcome
to any meeting for a nominal charge of £2, refundable if you decide to Join
during that meeting. Annual subscriptions of £8 are due in October, but
you can join and pay at any following meeting, if you ask for Delia, the Treasurer. You will be given
a card with full details of the
season's talks and visits, and contact details.
